Before adding chalk to the front I sprayed a layer of Matte finish so the paper would be more toothy. Then applied same as the front; orange on the side, blue on the hood and roof.

Now purple again, notice how Im leaving that spot completely white for contrast, even on the glass. |

I finished bringing the core into the glass. Used touchups and lines everywhere with a white prismacolor. And finished it off with black gouache around the tires and ground shadow and white gouache for highlights. All these little things finish the render and make it pop. |

Since Im such a messy renderer whats left of the vellum all wrinkled and full of fingerprints, spills, chalk tests, ect. Vellum should be mounted on a new sheet of stronger paper so cut it out first.
And were finished!! I mounted it on some 80lb "Art Center Special" paper. It just a sheet of bright white cardstock or something. Now that its off the newsprint Ive had it on for the demoyou can see how much it pops.
